1) Overview

This website is operated by Copperthumb’s Curiosities (“Copperthumb’s Curiosities,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By visiting the site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund & Return Policy (collectively, the “Policies”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products and services to you.

2) Eligibility & Acceptable Use

You must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have consent of a legal guardian) to use the Site. You may not use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws, including IP/copyright laws, or to transmit malware or harmful code.

3) Product Information & Handmade Nature

Many of our items are handmade or 3D-printed. Minor variations in color, finish, or dimensions are normal and part of their unique character. We work to display product colors and images accurately, but displays may vary by device.

Intellectual Property & Trademarks: Copperthumb's Curiosities is an independent creator of handcrafted tabletop gaming accessories. Any third-party trademarks referenced descriptively in product names, descriptions, or imagery are the property of their respective owners. This store is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party game publisher.

4) Prices, Taxes & Availability

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Taxes, shipping, duties, and import fees (where applicable) are calculated at checkout or due upon delivery. We may limit quantities or discontinue products at any time.

5) Orders, Payment & Cancellations

We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order (e.g., suspected fraud, inventory errors, policy violations). If we change or cancel an order, we’ll attempt to notify you using the email and/or billing address provided at checkout.
Payments are processed securely via Shopify’s supported payment methods (e.g., Shopify Payments, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay).

6) Shipping & Delivery

Processing times and estimated transit windows are detailed in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by carrier delays, customs, weather, or holidays. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Tracking is provided when available.

7) Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Our Refund & Return Policy (including the 30-day return window) governs returns, exchanges, and refunds. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted. Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection, per the timelines stated in that policy.

8) Accounts & Security

If you create an account, you’re responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

9) Third-Party Tools & Links

We may provide access to third-party tools or link to third-party websites. These are provided “as is” without warranties or control by us. Your use of third-party tools/sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.

10) User Content (Reviews, Submissions)

If you submit reviews, ideas, photos, or other content (“User Content”), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, and display such content for marketing or operational purposes. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that includes malware. You remain solely responsible for your User Content.

11) Intellectual Property (Site Content)

All designs, product photos, graphics, logos, and site content are owned by Copperthumb’s Curiosities or licensed to us and are protected by IP laws. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, or exploit any portion of the Site or content without our prior written consent.

12) Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Site for unlawful purposes; (b) infringe IP rights; (c) harass or discriminate; (d) submit false/misleading information; (e) upload malware; (f) collect personal information of others; (g) spam, phish, crawl, or scrape; (h) interfere with security features; or (i) circumvent technical measures.

13) Disclaimer of Warranties

Except as expressly stated by us in writing, the Site and all products/services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that results will be accurate or reliable.

14) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Copperthumb’s Curiosities and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any products purchased. In jurisdictions that do not allow such exclusions, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law, and in no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.

15) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Artisan Doodle Books LLC, DBA Copperthumb’s Curiosities, and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

16) Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.

17) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflicts of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California for any dispute not subject to informal resolution.

18) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is posted on this page with the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
